How does it work?

  • Shipment of the Danastool collection kit directly to your home.
  • Activation and Self-collection: Completion of the online medical history form and performing the fecal self-collection at home with total ease.
  • Shipment to the laboratory: Sending the sample using the included prepaid envelope. The Danastool system preserves the stability of the markers at room temperature without the need for a cold chain.
  • Analysis and Reporting: The laboratory performs the immuno-enzymatic assays and releases the digital report within 2–3 weeks.

Why choose?

  • Integrated dual investigation: Simultaneously analyzes the physical structure of the barrier (Zonulin) and its immune defense (sIgA).
  • Very early identification of Leaky Gut: Allows for the detection of states of intestinal hyperpermeability before they develop into systemic inflammation or more complex issues.
  • Non-invasive collection: The use of the Danastool vial makes collection convenient and stable for transport.
  • Personalized planning: Objective and reproducible data useful for doctors and nutritionists to define tailored nutritional strategies or supplementation protocols.

Who is it for?

This test is particularly recommended for:

  • Evaluating and verifying suspected intestinal hyperpermeability (Leaky Gut Syndrome).
  • Investigating the health status of the mucosa in the presence of chronic food intolerances, non-celiac gluten sensitivity, or recurrent abdominal bloating or pain.
  • Assessing the activity and efficiency of immune defenses at the gastrointestinal level.
  • Monitoring progress and immune response during therapeutic pathways for inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) or dysbiosis syndromes.
  • Investigating the clinical picture in the presence of systemic or dermatological disorders related to the gut-body axis.

Disclaimer

  • Informational value and clinical support: The report has analytical and cognitive value. It does not in itself constitute a clinical or medical diagnosis, does not identify pathologies autonomously, and does not replace evaluation and prescription by a physician.
  • Specialist evaluation: The interpretation of Zonulin and sIgA levels must be contextualized by an attending physician or specialist within the patient's overall clinical picture.
  • Pharmacological interference: The intake of immunomodulatory, corticosteroid, or anti-inflammatory drugs in the preceding days may influence sIgA and Zonulin values. It is recommended to accurately report any therapies in the online medical history form.
