The Advanced Metagenomic WGS Shotgun Gut Microbiome test is the most comprehensive and in-depth metagenomic sequencing analysis for studying the intestinal ecosystem. Leveraging high-resolution WGS Shotgun technology on the Oxford Nanopore platform, the test performs multi-kingdom mapping (at the species level) of the bacterial community, mycetes (fungi), parasites, and DNA viruses. It also provides detection of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) genes and virulence factors, delivering an extensive report that analyzes the intestinal barrier, inflammatory potential, nutrient metabolism, estrobolome, resistome, and the gut-brain axis.

How does it work?

Receive the kit at home and provide your sample. The stabilizing tube does not require a cold chain.

  • In the laboratory, we proceed with automated DNA extraction (MagMAX) and library preparation (SQK-RPB114.24)
  • Analysis on Nanopore GridION x5, approximately 21 Gb and 5 million reads
  • Data processing via a proprietary pipeline and comparison against validated multi-kingdom databases.
  • Receive the complete digital report within 4–5 weeks.
